Then within a week of install the lifting piston dislodged from its ball joint and it has not stayed in place since. The lifter was easy enough to install, but placement on the spa was somewhat confusing. I thought I was purchasing a unit that mounts to my deck under the spa. This mounts on the sides of the spa.
